Mother Nature lives in the heart of all mothers. Some of us, steeped in the modern world, don't know this, because we've been trained from our own infancy to listen to the "experts" (including childrearing ones) as opposed to our own instincts and commonsense.

The original oil painting, Mother Nature Holding the Future, invites us into the wilderness, into the natural world where it is easier for us to think, to wonder, and thereby encounter reality. By the current of the alpine stream, we hold an irreplaceable bundle of innocence and goodness, a precious life we are determined to protect and love.

Mother Nature Holding the Future is also available as a print in many sizes and substrates at Steve Henderson Collections, our sister site that focuses on prints and gifts. See the options at the link, Mother Nature Holding the Future at Steve Henderson Collections.
