Verdant Banks, the original oil painting, celebrates the color, the warmth, and the lush growth of spring, inviting the viewer to step down to a country stream and listen to the silence. The term verdant itself implies the sense of lushness of spring growth -- a lushness that is promise to the summer season ahead.

Verdant Banks invites the viewer into the intimate landscape setting along a section of slowly moving water -- the original artwork is 5 inches high by 10 inches long on panel, but within a small space, much is said. The landscape is quiet, tranquil, peaceful, a place where one wants to stop and think, dream, daydream and simply listen to the gentle sound of the water.

Although Verdant Banks, the original oil painting, is sold. The artwork is available as a print at Steve Henderson Collections, the sister site to Steve Henderson Fine Art that focuses on prints and gifts. See the options by clicking on the link, Verdant Banks at Steve Henderson Collections.
