Grace -- Wall Art and Home Decor from Steve Henderson Collections
Available
What Is Grace, Really?
Many religious people talk about the concept of grace, but the more they talk, the less appealing their definition of it is. Somehow, rules and regulations and shoulds and should nots and oughts and must-dos play a major factor in this thing called grace. One is left wondering, "So, where's the grace? What does it look like? And why should I want it?"
The artwork, Grace, captures a sense of freedom, joy, beauty, and creativity that are what grace really is. While we can (and do) argue endlessly on theological elements, the essential nature of grace is that it is not demanding, it does not play games, it doesn't punish us for being human and foolish, and it expresses our Creator's desire to walk with us in our lives -- to teach (gently), to guide, to be patient with us, and (frequently overlooked) to enjoy being with us, and to encourage us to enjoy Him, and His beautiful creation.
Maybe the best way to look at grace is to look at a truly good, loving parent -- they overlook a lot of little things for the bigger picture of raising a child with whom they hope to have a lifelong, satisfyingly intimate relationship.
